i went to a kickboxing class at my gym yesterday, and it was really hard but there was this one girl in there who was AMAZING at it. she had a really good body. she was skinny and had no flab. she wasn't muscular, but she was really toned and tight. she was sweating a lot and getting a really good workout. i on the other hand kept having to rest every 5 minutes. i'm such a fatass. i'm 16. and i also smoke, which is bad and why i can't exercise a lot. and i get drunk with friends all the time. ugh. when the class was over i pulled her aside to ask her about her diet and fitness and stuff and this is what she told me. she's 17 by the way.she says she drinks lots and lots of water, and makes sure she gets at least 8 hours of sleep every night. she says she eats all organic and basically only eats oatmeal (she doesn't add any sugar or sweetener at all!), low fat milk, water, plain yogurt (again, no sweetener!), beans, hard boiled eggs, fruits, and veggies. and she says she works out almost every day. she also says she doesn't drink or smoke--ever. this girl was SO amazing i cant even explain. and she had the prettiest skin in the world. i asked her how much she weighs and she said 116. and she's 5'6. that's me height. do you think if i did what she does i could be like her? would i have to stop drinking and smoking? she says she doesn't party and likes to go to bed early. ALL the guys in the gym were checking her out, i want that!HELP! does she sound healthy? does what she does sound good? she says she also dances a lot and does a lot of yoga and pilates.

of course what she's doing is good and healthy. that's basically what i do and i'm 5'6 and i weigh 117. i'm also 17. i've always been really disciplined with myself, so to me being unhealthy isn't even an option. but for someone who isn't used to having this lifestyle might have a hard time with it. especially if you drink and smoke like you say you do, you might have a hard time cutting back and living a healthier lifestyle. and i completely agree with her about water and sleep, those are two of the most amazing things for looking good and being healthy. "beauty sleep" is not a myth. it sounds she eats a lot of protein too, and obviously not bread and sugar, so of course she has a great body. it's impossible to be overweight when you do what she does. i think you should give it a try, you sound really unhealthy. you can't even take a kickboxing class without having to stop and rest all the time? that's sad. exercise more!!

if you do what she does you'll def. be a lot healthier and look better. yes. I'm just starting to go on a more organic diet, stopped drinking and eating junk food. Been like 2 weeks and my skin is looking a little better. (I'm really self conscious about my complexion so it's awesome)

Yea it sounds really healthy. But it must be hard to follow such a strict diet. I know I couldnt do it. I should tho cause im 30llbs overweight...I recommend you stop smoking and drinking so much. drink only water, sleep earlier and eat healthier. it doesnt have to be such an extreme diet like this girl but eat lots of fruits and veggies and eat low fat non fried food.

I'm sure that on top of this she eats lots of fruits and veggies. Organic can REALLY slim you because you don't build up ton's of toxins and you aren't taking in a bunch of chemicals that mess with your skin. You could do this and please quit smoking, look at older people's skin that smoke.. NOT attractive. You will be impressed at how easy exercise will get and how better you will look after just a month of stopping. Anyway, if you are only drinking once a week or once every two weeks it will help. And on the carb/calories if you drink liqour instead of beer or whine it's better too. Just don't get super wasted.

Yes you could look like her if you lived that lifestyle...Also too the person that said she looks like she dont eat bread, If she is eating oatmeal i guarantee you she's eating bread. Bread is NOT fattening...only white bread is, and only VERY slightly. Whole grain bread is great for you and you should eat up to 3 slices a day. Absolutely stop smoking and drinking, If you workout and the first thing you do is light up a cigerette when you're done, you've got a problem, and most likely aren't too serious about getting in shape. Only drink occasionally, and dont avoid bread, only white bread...Also besides bread, people give a bad name to potatoes. A very large potatoe has about 200 calories, No fat, about 5 grams of protein, and complex carbs our bodies NEED. Its a great meal replacer on the occasion if you dress it right and not with super fattening dressing. Also, a healthy breakfast is the first step in a healthy lifestyle.

Oh wow. I wish I could do that. I don't have enough obedience to do that. You should for sure stop smoking. Not only for the obvious non-cancer reasons but so you can exercise more if that's what you're looking to do. Drinking is probably not as bad if you're not doing it every weekend or something. Even if your workout schedule is just doing the yoga and pilates part every other day or something, you'd probably start to notice a difference eventually. Also you'll get more flexible and strong.
