| I have dance dance revolution on wii (hottest party) and it has a workout mode on it... you just put in your weight and how many calories you want to burn.. personally, it takes a while for me to get a sweat out of it... but it is burning calories and its really fun. i wouldnt say its a good workout compared to running... you have to play if for a while to burn a lot of calories too! |

| Yep on a medium setting it can be quite an intense workoutLike another poster has suggested Wii Fit is good as well. My dad has it and I played on it the other night and I got a good varied workout from it. |

I had a friend in college who did DDR and played tennis a few times a week and he ended up losing 157 lbs over the summer! Granted, he was heavy to start with but it really entertained him enough to work out everyday. He did the work out mode on the game. This is not a subsitute for an actual work out though! Its a great alternative. I would also recommend Wii Fit. Its alot of fun!I recommend (if your going with DDR work outs) that you try a healthy foods diet, perhaps a five small meals a day method, and also doing the workout modes on DDR everyday. Don't under estimate the great outdoors though! You'll be on expert mode in no time though. |
