Okay so I plan to have this diet as a LIFE diet. Now, i'm not teling the amount of calories, but it gets me by, what i'm saying is..will my body go into starvation mode IF I keep with this diet and this diet only?? Because I don't understand how it could if I stick with the same diet forever? That makes no sense to me? Please help me out. Also, I believe I am eating ENOUGH for my body not to go into starvation mode, I'm eating about as much as my mother does and she's skinny as hell! Okay, I will say I eat fruit for breakfast, and then anything I feel like for dinner and I think that's good enough. Just please people, I need help with the starvation mode thing? If anything, I DO NOT wanna end up gaining weight!!

You know how starvation is regarded as a negative thing? Like "people are starving in poor countries"....that's because it IS a negative thing. Your body is not meant to go into starvation mode. I'm sure you'll hear this from all people responding, but do not go on a starvation diet. That's the beginnings of an eating disorder.Just eat healthy foods until you're no longer hungry. And get exercise. The solution has been the same for ages.

If you are trying to lose weight and you are eating fruit and only eating two meals a day, you are going about it wrong. Fruit is no good for dieting. You need to eat more than 2 meals a day. You should be eating 6 meals a day, small ones, that will keep your metabolism high. Eat mainly vegetables and protein sources, such as fish and chicken. Only drink water, and drink a lot of it.

In order to make an assessment we need to know about how much you weigh, your age and how many calories you're eating daily. It would also be helpful to have an idea of what kinds of foods you are eating on the diet.
