|
I am looking for a treadmill that shows u on the monitor how many calories ur burning. I am not looking to spend too much money but cant seem to find any that show how many calories i am burning except at the gym and i dont know what those were called.... i know some of u may say that the calorie burning counter doesnt work, but i would still like one... Any links or ideas or names of treadmills that show ur heart rate, calorie burning, etc....not too pricey?i need one that shows how many calories i am burninglike i said, i know the calorie counter may not be accurate, but i want it anyways because it gives me a ballpark number of the calories i may burn

The ones I like are called Lifefitness. They have some of the best gym equipment. 24hr uses Precor. They are ok, but I prefer Lifefitness. Maybe you could check out Sears I know they sell an assortment of Treadmills at different price ranges.

I believe that treadmills are a little bit expensive. I would suggest for you to use a polar watch, this watch comes with a trap that you attached to your chest and measure your heart beat and how many calories you burnt.Just to let you know even the watch or the treadmill is not accurate, probably both of them will show you a higher number of calories burnt but it's good for you to have a parameter.Just don't forget about food, a balanced diet is very important to lose weight. http://www.minimizeme.tvThe ups and downs of an ordinary man on a diet.(it's my blog, not selling any pills, books or magic formulas)Lost 15 lbs since 13 July 2008

calorie counters are not accurate. the only way to get an accurate reading is to input both the bodyweight and body fat %. a person that weights 200 lbs and has 25% body fat burns 2x the calories as a 100 lb person at 25% body fat if they performed the exact same workout. to make the most out of cardio focus on increasing the distance traveled in the same amount of time at the same level of intensity. this is how you force the body to adapt and become more efficient and keep the metabolic rate elevated after exercise, where the real fat loss takes place.Edit: counting calories is a waste of time. do you think athletes count calories or focus on becoming better at their sport? the same applies to exercise.
