| I switched from running on the treadmill to using the eliptical. The balls of my feet and toes go numb while wearing my Asics running shoes. Can this be helped by picking a different type of shoe such as a trainer? |

| Oh God, this used to happen to me and I'd tell the people in the sports shop and they'd give me a "Huh?" look.I'm a cross-trainer user and found after going through Nikes and Reeboks, the best trainers for cushioning on the balls of the feet are Adidas, ones that are labelled as 'running shoes' (although I doubt they'd stand up to the rigours of a good run!). | You may be doing the exercise wrong if parts of your feet are going numb.What's wrong with moving from the treadmill to the pavement? |

| This happens to me also. I would suggest that you find a shoe that is raised or lifted in the front. I actually think that a cycling shoe may work. |
