I was looking online and a lot of sites said that you're supposed to get at least 1200 calories a day to be "healthy." I think that's around how much I eat a day, but I run most days for ~45 min (=300+ cal burned?). I eat healthy food for the most part, and I feel pretty full/satisfied most days..I just realize that I'm probably taking in less calories than I should. I don't really want to purposefully start eating more because wouldn't that make me gain weight? So should I just keep eating what I am?

Eat when you're hungry. People existed hundreds of years before the invention of the calorie. Your body knows what it's doing, and will tell you what it needs. If you're getting fat or fainting, think about changing your diet, but until then, you sound very healthy.

Keep a diary. If you find a good meal that has plenty more caloriesopt for that over a less calorific meal. If after a month you have stayed the same weight then at least your body has had the chance to get more nutrient. [Nuts can be good] If you gain weight then you can go back to the previous diet. Sadly most of us pile on the pounds when our metabolism slows with teh natural aging process
