I weigh quite abit for my age (23 and at about 290 if not more and 6'5")I started walking 2 miles aday about combined with my usually fast paced job (Working outside changing tires and oil)the road i walk down is a curvy up and down roadThe other problem i've run into is i usually skip breakfast because i'm not hungry usually anymore when i wake up, and i end up usually eating only 2 meals a day that being lunch and dinner, usually no snacks in between or before i go to bed. Any good sites i could check out the see what i should be doing different?

Try to eat more meals. This will raise your metabolism and cause you to loose weight. Don't even think of junk food. Eat a LOT of fruit and vegetables. Try to incorporate some other exercises into your week. Try swimming, biking, jogging, or fast paced sports.

5-6 meals per day(small meals) .... walking will not make you lose weight... lol iunno why you would think that....cardio = running, jogging, biking, swimming fast. you need 30-60 min cardio per day to lose weight

I am 42, 6'2" and 226lbs. 2 1/2 months ago I was 259 lbs. and lost it all from walking and watching what I eat. I do a little weighlifting but not enough to burn a signifigant amount of calories. I have been walking 6 miles a day and about 13.5-14 minute miles. That guy who said you cant lose weight by walking is misinformed.
