NOT a good idea. If you stop eating your body will hold on to the fat stores even more because it thinks it needs them in an emergency. Ask yourself why you need to lose this weight so much, if it's a confidence thing then just deal with that. If you take on a silly weight loss scheme it's likely that you will end up with more weight on than you started.

If you starve yourself for two weeks you will be too ill to enjoy the party. You may lose some weight, as with any other crash diet, but you will only put it back on when you eat as your body will store all energy as fat.Diet pills only suppress your appetite anyway so you're not missing out on anything.I would suggest you get a nice dress for the party, one that compliments your figure, and then worry about losing weight in a healthy way afterwards.Regular exercise: 30-60 mins of cardio per day, toning muscle groups such as stomach, thighs, butt. If you wanna lose weight and get in shape, without making yourself ill, its gonna take a lot longer than 2 weeks. Try cycling as your cardio exercise, it tones the thighs and butt whilst improving your heart and lungs.Eat, but eat healthily! overall have fun and good luck!

If you're serious about losing weight you MUST try Acai Berry! I first heard about on Oprah, and I ordered a 14-day FREE trial from this site. I've already lost some weight and I've got tons more energy.

This is coming from a 17 year old gym instructor believe me u dnt need to starve ur self, what you need to stop doing is looking at your weight cus i used to always make that mistake you need to try and find some body fat scales that measure your fat not your weight, all you need to do is eat bout 5 meals a day but very small meals but enough cals to keep you going through out the day, you can snack but eat healthy things try and cut of the crap if its just a temporary thing. it shouldnt be hard special if you can work out 3-5 times a week i would say treadmill and abdominal work outs SmileSmile

If you reduce what you are eating by 500kcal a day, you will lose 0.5 kg or 1.1lbs a week. So what's your target? Also, don't engage in vigorous exercise, as this will reduce your appetite immediately after, but increases your appetite over the next few days. Instead of burning fats, you are going to gain more fats.Instead, engage in light activity like walking, doing household chores, grocery shopping, etcYou will need to drink enough water to prevent water retention. Drink about half your body weight (pounds) in ounces. 1 glass is about 8 ounces. If you need more fat burning tips, you can get them at http://www.betterhealthstartstoday.com

You are pretty much doomed to fail with that quick fix attitude, in fact a University of California study, published last year, suggested 2 in 3 so called dieters like you, end up heavier. The problem with your question is that if you look in "search for questions" it comes up 30 times every day. I have had some criticism for repeatedly using the same answer, but since I am happy with my answer, and the questions are the same, I don't see the issue with recycling the same answer. In practise for problems that came up on a regular basis we tended to use patient leaflets to avoid having to repeat ourselves this seemed a sensible use of resources. What follows is thus in effect me information leaflet.Weight loss and fitness is always a long term commitment and never a quick fix. If you really want to reduce your weight a bit, this is a complex regime, that should help, I would get a pencil to write it down, in case you forget any of the intricate details.Currently only using the criteria 'lose weight' there are 9,419 questions and answers on Answers already. Mis-spell it as 'loose weight' and you get another 2,633! 'Weight loss' will add another 1,883. 'Too fat ' 15,515 and 'overweight' 2,692 and 'over weight' 26,269!!!!!.'Diet Pills' gives 607, Green tea 482, Hoodia 195, 'pink patch' 119, 'Xenical' 91 'Reductil' 78, 'Slim fast' 215 (and Slimfast 69 ), lipotrim 44 and 'orlistat' 40 . Do you spot a pattern here? OMG that is 60,000 questions with the same basic theme, wanting to lose weight! Here comes the only answer, no tricks, no pills, no short cuts, If you really want to lose weight, loose weight, not be too fat or overweight, follow these instructions carefully:-1) Eat less2) Take regular vigorous exerciseRepeat 1 + 2 forever
