Yes, I'm trying to lose weight. When I get to a certain weight, I'm looking to sculpt my body. I'm going the whole nine yards and am very serious about doing it. Starting next wk I'll be Weight Training(w/ some Cardio) on Mon. Wed. and Thurs.'s. Alternate days I'll be doing 1 Hr. Cardio. At this point I'm just trying to get the weight down. Also I am female. I eat whole foods, and try to eat about 6 small meals throughout the day. I've heard Whey Powder and Creatine is really good for building lean muscle? I don't eat breakfast, but I should, and I know sometimes I don't get the protein I need. I want to have energy, but I'm not sure if Whey or Creatine is good for me or okay for a female trying to lose weight. I've already lost 4.5 lbs., but I've also been using Equate's brand of Weight Loss Shakes. Any good advice on this is appreciated?

Well yes creatine and whey are a good 1-2 punch in muscle building, however ,not sure what the appropiate dosage for females is ,but you can go to www.bodybuilding.com and see on the female athletes board about workouts and possibly learn about creatine and whey dosages for females from them.

Those are 2 totally different product. Whey is a protein, which I would suggest because you can't build muscle without it. I use both, plus a Nitric Oxide product stacked with them, and they work great together. At the very least you should be taking protein.

Creatine builds up water in your muscles, and as soon as you stop working out, they'll turn to fat. Whey protein is good to help build muscles, but should be used in moderation. [Only AFTER you work out] You aren't going to lose weight on either of these products. They will actually make you gain weight. They're for muscle building, and muscle weighs more than fat.

1.) Eat breakfast.2.) EAT BREAKFAST. Cereals, fruits, yogurt, juice. Not eggs and bacon. Although eggs can be good once in a while... just don't go nuts.3.) There is such a thing as too much protein. Excess protein in your body is deposited onto your bones, and that can erode them, leading to a calcium deficiency. So don't go crazy. Find a good, moderate source of protein, and stick with it. Whey is okay. Eat good, healthy food when you're hungry, and don't eat when you're not hungry (like when you're bored).4.) If you want energy, eat fruit. Instead of a snack from a vending machine, try a delicious juicy pear! Instead of a bowl of ice cream after a long day, try a bowl of yogurt with blueberries, strawberries, and peaches. Mmmm.Good luck.

I use whey protein atm and have used creatine in the past. From my experiences, they are both meant to help you gain mass and have more results from working out, which also leads to calorie loss = weight loss. Without diving into anything scientific about either product, using creatine allowed me to instantly (a couple weeks) notice how my energy and strength had increased tremendously. I was a little shocked at first, but also concluded that it wasn't 'natural' and decided I wanted to go about this all-natural.Whey protein I used and still use because it is fast absorbing (I take it post workout) and it repairs the tearing and damage done to your muscles after you workout. It doesn't give any instant freakish results but in the longterm allows you to become stronger, healthier and lose weight.I would definitely recommend you eat breakfast and for each meal eat a healthy balance of protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats. Something like a 40:20:20 ratio per meal should work.

If you are using the "shakes" to replace a meal its great to drink that in the morning. Its a wonderful way to kick start your metabolism which stays asleep from night until you eat again in the morning or whenever sooo the sooner you eat the better...I truthfully wouldnt worry about supplaments until you are at your desired weight. eating 6 times is a great idea but watch the calories and the fats and sugars. Low fat low sugar is a great thing to keep in mind. weight training will not help you lose weight, but the cardio is a perfect way to lose body fat and keep the muscles fit also.

Creatine is not the solution. The best way to cut off fats is to do with aerobics and yogic exercises one after another. Yogic exercises are wondrous to reduce wait as well as to tone up the body in accordance to weight loss. In this way you will not feel any kind of fatigue or weakness.Your weight loosing program will become pleasing and joyful too.
