What's the best way to lose weight if you don't have a lot of time to get out to the gym or go running?

| That's a toughy. Well, weight loss foods are not the answer in any case. Just cut down on junk foods and sugars. I do not mean cut them out of your life, it is quite unhealthy to do that. Go for a bike ride whenever you can, like if you have 30 minutes before you have to go somewhere after. Maybe run around the yard a couple of times. If you are sitting on the computer,watching tv, or texting your friends, things like that, use that time to get some exercise. take a break from all that stuff you do. Make sure not to push yourslef though. |

| Try this. I call it the Andy B diet (clever eh).Eat more pasta/rice and always have it with a glass of water. This makes you full quicker and will stop you eating unhealthy snacks.Always use stairs instead of lifts. It may only be small but if you going up 3 floors use the steps! This will keep burning calories.Go for a jog once a week. Once a week isn't much and you can make time for that. Start running for 10min then increase it a little bit each time. Also, running is free!Finally - walk. Get a pedometer and measure 10,000 steps a day. If your not hitting this do more walking. Walk during a lunch break, walk to the local shops, just walk!Its the small changes that make the big difference. |

| Losing 5-7 pounds would probably take 2 months to do. Losing weight is not an easy thing. First thing I would advise u do is change ur diet. If u drink caffeine, u should limit urself to 1 coffee/soda a week. Also, if u drink alcohol, I would advise either giving that up completely, or limiting urself to drinking only on weekends. Make sure that u drink plenty of water (between 8-10 glasses everyday), and take vitamins. Believe me, that will help tremendously. Also, if u dont eat breakfast, I would advise u start eating it. I'm not quite sure why, but ppl who dont eat breakfast are statistically fatter. Only eat a light breakfast though, and avoid sugarry things. Other than that, just eat a balanced diet, plenty of fruits and vegetables, and avoid fatty, sugary, and oily foods. In order to lose aa pound of fat, you have to burn off 3600 more calories each week than you consume. In order to do this, u should jog for at least a half hour everyday. Jogging helps that most with belly fat, which is the deadliest kind of fat on ur body. Also, watch how much u eat. Don't develop an eating disorder, but don't completely stuff urself either. Idk what else there is that u could do. Good luck. If u really put ur mind to it, u can lose the weight. Oh yeah, and dont forget to continue these good habits after you've lost those extra pounds, otherwise, you'll gain them all back. |
