| having trained for more than 13 years and researched this endlessly, id be interested to hear what people have to say on this. The side effects of anabolics (I feel) have been exaggerated since they originated, and in recent times - the effects of alcohol abuse has been highlighted. Granted steroid *abuse* is bad, but how does a mild cycle compare to a few weekends on the piss? id prefer to hear actual scientific answers on this/personal experiences as opposed to the usual media inspired mass hysteria against gearDave, interesting answer thanks for that (I did forget to mention PCT, this is more important than any part of a cycle in my opinion) |

| A couple drinks will put a lot of stress on your liver, but keep in mind that its just a couple drinks and its just on one day out of the week. With injectable long acting steroids, its continuous stress, even though it is much less. But either way, steroids are not as bad as they make it seem when used by educated users. Most users are not educated, most users dont use, they abuse steroids. Also, most users dont even know what PCT is and why you need it after a cycle. Injectable steroids are not very harsh on the liver, and should not be a problem at all for most healthy users. Its mostly an issue when dumb people pop a handful of DBOLs or take more then one or two anadrols, especially when they use it for too long. Those are the people that make steroids look bad because they end up in the hospital. They are usually not growing off a couple pills because they have a poor workout program or dont know how to eat to grow. So they just pop more and more pills.I can tell you of many people I have met that have done steroids. They did it correctly, did 100s of hours of research on steroids, and knew about bodybuilding extensivly. They are very very very healthy and nothing went wrong at all. They got their blood levels checked before and after and did a physical after and they are perfectly healthy. A stack with testosterone (cyp or enth) with deca is mild and will produce little to know side effects (as long as normal doses are used and nothing crazy). So, I dont think that theyve really compared liver values for steroids vs alcohol, but in the end, neither should hurt you if you use and not abuse, and know what your doing. |
