| For the last 18 months i have went out on my bike about 3-7 times a week & cycled roughly 6-7miles in 30-40 minutes. I had really muscly thighs, but i was away to florida for 2 weeks at the end of june, and obviously i didn't work out there or go out on my bike. I came back and i was 4lbs lighter (i'm 5ft/5ft1" - 103.8lbs after florida) & i knew it was muscle loss and i stopped going out on my bike because i guess i liked knowing i was lighter because of it.However, now i'd like to build up my thigh muscles again as they're getting pretty disgusting now as it's turning into fat (it's still a majority of muscle, just not as much as before) so how long do you think it would take me to build up my thigh muscles again?I was going to start doing:a 3 minute squat once or twice a day.a 20 minute walk once a day.& go out on my bike 3-5 times a week (cycle the same route as before)any other ideas?& how long do you think it'll take my toned thighs to come back? |

| Building muscles depends on several factors1 your own gentic make up2 the intensity,time and duration during work out3 rest 4 diet5 supplents can help6 Muscles you have worked in the past which had developed will usually respond much quicker than if you never worked them cuz muscle does have memory.All else fails check out bodybuilding.com 4 some guidance |

woo finally a good question.. most ppl just wana magic cure to lose ten pounds in 2 days.Cycling the same route as before shud bring ur legs up to speed fine mate.. u could throw in some squats/lunges too.. but if u wana cycle the best way to get back into it is too cycle! Dont worry bout the 3 min walk, walkin uses different direct muscles, so ud be building up other muscles, and 3 mins aint enuf anyway (guessing u meant 30?) Just go for shorter rides, then build it up a little.. i love riding, when i get injured or hav to go away for wateva reason and cant ride i miss it stacks! good luck |
