|
|
| I run about 3 miles a day, and I want to know if there's any kind of warm-up to keep my legs from getting sore? From what I read online, jogging should make your knees sore and damage it, but when I jog, the muscles around my legs get very sore. After 1.5 miles, my heart still isn't worked up, but my legs are sore as hell. Anything I can do to prevent that? Like special socks, particular warm-ups, new shoes? |

| How often and when do you stretch. You should stretch at least after every workout. Stretching has been shown to be of greater benefit if performed once the muscles are warm. Also, your legs are probably sore as a result of over training. Also, since you do this every day your body probably has gotten used to it and you have reached a plateau. Take a day off, switch up what you do for activity, do some cross training. |
