did you just start this routine? keep up the cardio (cycle) and try to add an elliptical or something in so you dont get bored. if you are lifting weights as well, be sure and do cardio last. eat well. dont purge saturday and sunday, pick one day to have a treat. but dont eat junk all day. stop drinking soda if you drink it. also, drink lots of water. one can lose up to a pound of week just be drinking more water. stay focoused. you can lose up to 3-4 pounds the first week or two, but then it dies down to around 1-2 pounds per week. good luck

i suggest to use the rowing machine - the one with the water in the bowl part - is the best because it has natural resistance.. it works every muscle in your body! its fantastic .. and you get into a rhythm .. especially if u listen to music or something ..... but yer .. thats the best and you loose weight quite quick as well as tonning at the same time :)good luck

You are doing it. Cardio is the best way to lose the fat. You can do 200 crunches a day but if it is hiding under a layer of fat, it will do no good. You must burn the fat off. Try doing cardio 5 times per week and 40 minutes is good. Try to mix it up a bit. Bike one day, run another, stair climber, etc. You must also eat a healthy diet. You should also include strength training. The more muscle you build, the more calories your body will burn even while sleeping. Bicycles, crunches, leg lifts are great for abs and utitlize the many chest muscle machines in your gym for the chest.

Standing up. Repeatedly bring knee up as high as you can and touch it with opposite hand. Rapidly. Check heart rate. On empty stomach. Same time suck in your gut.

well biking is good, but the way you bike is what matters for burning fat. there is this regimen that i follow and it has worked out really great for me and my pacs are on the way. Max out. My regimen on the elliptical is 1 min normal speed. 30 sec max out. 1 min normal speed, 1 min max out and so on. Max out means that you have pedal harder or run faster or walk faster so as to bring your heart rate to the maximum for your age. for me its 160 and it depends on age. 80% of your max heart capacity is what we are looking for, so that means dont overdo it as it can be dangerous. Increase in heart rate easily burns out the fat and trust me, you will start seeing results soonThe training is called FITT or something like that

Cardio exercise alone may not take off the weight you are looking for. Every other day you should be doing exercises that involves weights. I assume the gym you joined has weight machines as well as cardios...? Utilize everything your facility offers, including any classes if they offer them. Cardio only burns off calories and fat for as long as you are using the machine, weights will build up lean muscle which will burn calories and fat long after your workout is done. Weights should only be used every other day, then supplement with the cardio workouts and you'll have a much better result.

It is not possible to spot reduce fat in just one part of your body, like your stomach. In order to lose stomach fat you will need to lose the fat all over your body.In short you may need to start:1) Eating healthier, this means:Eat smaller mealsEat more meals a dayDon’t starve yourselfEat more vegetables and fruitDrink more waterLess sugars and empty calories (less soft drinks, cakes, cookies)Switch to whole wheat versions of your bread and pasta, brown rice instead of white rice2) Exercising:Forget crunches, crunches work your ab muscles but they dont burn enough calories to lose belly fat, if you do hundreds of crunches daily you will have great abs but you wont see them under your belly fat.Prefer full body exercises they burn the most calories and increase you metabolism for a few hours after your workout.Get a training partner or a fitness trainer, a very worthwhile investment - of the money you save on junk food for example =)Try also to reduce stress and get enough sleep. Both of these are related to weight gain and emotional eating. For more try: http://www.flatstomachtips.comI wish you all the best,John
