| I know you may want to overload but honestly you shouldn't. It can harm your liver. Just keep it nice and simple with a multivitamin. |

| Go to GNC they have vitamins that have little to no preservatives. More natural vitamins. You want to ensure you take a multi-vitamin (ones with minerals especially iron). You may also want to take a Vitamin B complex, these are the stress vitamins. They make you feel uplifted. I take 50mcg as well as my mom and she swears that when she feels really draggy, after she takes her pill within one hour, she's up and about. The Vitamin B's are water soluable so whatever isn't used runs out through your urine (they aren't stored in your body like some of the others). The 5-hour energy drink is packed full of B12 and another B vitamin, but it's at a much higher concentrate than 50 mcg I believe. That's one of the main ingredients that gives the person that big boost in energy. |

Pills normally don't have the right make up for absorption so more than likely you're just peeing a lot of it out and/or poisoning yourself with overdoses of the few vits and mins. that actually did get absorbed. Eating the real foods has a better absorption rate and is healthier because you're not ingesting the food coloring they're putting into the pills for some reason. Also be careful about where the pills are manufactured. China doesn't have the best track record of putting the best ingredients into their stuff. Think about it - lead paint on kids toys, whey protein in pet food that kills them, and nobody ever mentioned the dietary supplements we humans ingest. If you absolutely MUST take some sort of pill, I recommend Boscia supplements. They're preservative free and are basically the food put into powder form and packed down into pill form. Check for any kind of allergic reaction you might have to the ingredients before ingesting them though. For the easy to find supplements, the one a day multivitamin energy seems to be okay, kinda.... Taking more isn't the answer. If you feel you're missing something from your diet, then eat it, and not in pill form -unless its chocolate, then the pill form of that is M&Ms, which I recommend even if they have coloring. |
