I heard that you can lose the same amount of weight walking as you can jogging, is this true?

| Maybe, maybe not. It is all dependant upon heart rate. If you are new exercising, are walking in an area that has hills and you are doing your walking at a good pace (like you have to be somewhere as opposed to pushing s troller liesurely) than yes, it would probablt be the same workout as jogging. The problem is, once your body adapts to the walking and gets in better shape, you really have to speed things up to continue the weight loss.Look, walking, no matter how you do it is better than doing nothing at all. AS long as your heart rate climbs a little and you sustain that rate for 45 minutes you will drop weight. |
