so it gets kinda hard to keep wanting to go out and run because i feel like i shouldnt even do it unless i will be running for like 30 minutes or more, but sometimes that just sounds like too much. is it pretty much worthless to only run for 20 minutes? im trying to slim down my legs so i need to be burning fat, but your body doesnt even start burning fat until after the first 20 minutes supposedly...i am already eating a healthy diet

ANy amount of exercise is worth it. 20 minutes is great. Don't listen to that fat burning stuff, lots of that is not true. If you really want to do more, do 2 or 3 mini workouts during the day. Even a 5 minute run does you a lot of good.

It's actually a proven fact that you get more out of a 16 minute high/low cardio run than 30 mins. Try running for a few mins hard then walk for a minute or two this really burns calories. Then each day you try to up the amount of time you run and lower the amount of time you walk...but you still only do cardio for 16 mins a day or every other day.

Emily if you want to burn lots of fat in a short time jump rope. Also on the top of my list is trampoline, aerobics or working out on a heavy bag. You are in one area, it,s private and you get a serious hard core workout that shows instant results. If you are eating right then you will be majorly buffed out and tight as a drum in less than two to three weeks if you work for 1/2 hour every day. I even exercise between workouts like doing some leglifts while i,m lying on the couch watching tv. Exercise is like travel. The farther you run or exercise, the farther you get to being in shape. Force yourself to do what you don,t feel like doing and soon it becomes a force of habit.
