guys help me out - i am 15, 5'3'' and weigh 44kg(89lbs). I lost 47lbs in 2and a half months by rope jumping 1.5 hrs a day and eating very less. Now i have become all bony and lost muscle. I have stopped exercising. I have a cup of milk with protein malt and a tbps honey in the morning and a fruit. For lunch and dinner, I eat the cup of veggies and lentil each but embarassingly throw away the 2 rotis(circular pieces of bread) given along with it. I also throw away the milk at night given by mom as I no longer want to lose weight by i seriously do not want to gain any back - my biggest promblem. Now my mom thinks i am losing weight even after eating normally(i dont as i throw away half the stuff) and she has plans to increase my diet. What shall i do. I just dont want to increase weight. Shall i confess? Please help me out.

You should continue to exercise a few times a week, as that is healthy for everyone. As far as your diet, eat 6 small and healthy meals a day and drink lots of water. You'll be fine.

Yeah, you need to gain wait. i'm not fat and you're taller than me and weigh less. Tell your mom cause you clearly should be talking to someone. Believe me, you don't wanna be anorexic.

I say keep up the rope jumping, jog or something and still eat. You should still keep the same weight. My weights been the same for ages. I wanna lose but I guess I'm pretty good at keeping my weight consistent by jogging and stuff and stuffing my face.

Please eat, you are destroying not only your body, but essentially yourself. I am 18 years old, and know all about the pressures to be thin, but believe me, I have had many anorexic friends over the years, and none of them were happy! and none of my guy friends thought they were even attractive! bone thin is gross. you would and can be much healthier if you increase your food intake. Imagine what you would look like if you were say 100 lbs, hey you could even be 115 and be gorgeous, but say you gain just 10 lbs, you will look amazing. don't let food be the basis of your life, or even the numbers on the scale! think about ur happiness, that's what life is truly about. If eating makes you happy than do it! and if being skinny also makes you happy you can be skinny, and healthy at the same time. Think about gaining weight, and muscle, you will look so good! Good Luck

I know this is not the answer you want to hear, and I don't care if I don't get "best answer", but listen to your Mom, she's right ! If you're 5'-3 and only weigh 89 lbs, you definitely need to gain weight, at least 10 lbs preferably more. She's concerned about your health because she loves you and doesn't want you to become anemic on top of being anorexic. What you do when you're 18 is your business, but for the next 3 years you should respect your Mother and do what she says.
