Focus on your diet more than anything. Eat 6 small meals a day with a balance of lean protein and complex carbs. Don't go lite on the veggies. Eat about every 3 hours and make sure the meals are small in size. To measure portions, use your clenched fist. 1 portion of protein + 1 portion of carbs = a fat-burning meal.

You can work out all you want but the most important part of losing weight is eating a good diet, which means no fast food and eat sparingly. A lot of people skip breakfast and have a huge lunch and dinner. Instead, have a big hearty breakfast and eat small meals during the day so you don't cram it in during dinner.

That is great resolve, you've got a plan!I've answered this question so often by now, I lose track. I used to be obese some 15 years ago, so I know something about losing weight. Some things are important, like age and BMI (Body Mass Index), but 5'2 and 120 pounds doesn't look like too much overweight to me.I would say you are rooting for a stronger body and more responsive muscles, but as I suspect you are still growing and you have a promising work out program already, I would not worry too much about it, it will come naturally, with a bit of patience. To answer your question, I would have to copy/paste and Yahoo doesn't like that one bit, so I'm going to give you the links to the posts so you can read them for the weight loss part and what you can do to push the odds in your favor. Here they are: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20080626063249AAPHDCL http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20080624094804AAFAFrO http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20080626035716AAGc4Cc http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20080624143124AAHZfZEOne of the links is also about affirmations, these can help when your resolve gets tested, and believe me when I say this definitely can happen.Remember also that the number that will appear on your weighing scale is not necessarily the indication that you should take into first consideration. When you start burning the fat away in combination to those exercises, you might still see the weight go up. That's because muscles weight a lot more than fat, and with the exercise, your muscle mass will grow.Hope you get where you want to go, Gos Bless and good luck.
