I've been using the Wii Fit religiously for the last 12 days and at first my weight dropped a few pounds and then has been steadily increasing since then to about 2 or 3 pounds heavier than when I started. I'm wondering if I'm just gaining muscle? I do the yoga exercises every morning, then jog for 30 minutes, then I either do the strength training that's part of Wii Fit, or 20 minutes of Pilates (not part of Wii Fit). My diet has been a banana every morning for breakfast, tons of water, a sandwich with turkey, one slice of swiss, miracle whip and mustard and some sun chips. Then for dinner, we have something like Mahi Mahi and some veggies and a salad. Last night I made Quesadillas at home using flour tortillas and grilled chicken breast, onions, peppers and some cheese (a little!). Normally, without a vigorous workout routine, my body is really sensitive and I gain/lose weight really easily. I'm just wondering if this is a temporary weight gain before I start losing significantly?I'm working my ass off. I really work up a sweat and am sore the next day sometimes. So why is it not at least SLOWLY dropping off? I'm 25, 5'7 and I'm around 179 lbs. I know, I know... I'm trying!Nickel, I'm not "depending" upon the video game to help me lose weight. But I am using it and working out vigorously. As I said above, I am also jogging and doing pilates. I will say that the Wii Fit has really helped with with flexibility. I feel that my posture and balance has really improved and I have a general "good" feeling. |

| Do not depend on a video game to help you loose weight. |

| 12 days isn't enough time for you to be worried about it. Sounds like you are doing everything right, make sure that you are taking a multi-vit as well.Keep up what your doing and stop weighing yourself for 2 weeks....more then likely you are gaining muscle which weighs more then fat cells. |

| I'm not so sure if the Mahi Mahi and quesadilla is too healthy, check out the ingredients and nutrition facts, if it is healthy then I would assume that gained weight is from muscle. |
