| I started a new healthy lifestyle 2 weeks. Walking 1 mile daily and eating healthy. The problem is my calves burn so bad I'm dragging and limping just to finish the mile. In the mornings the soreness in my knees, calves and ankles is in full force and only eases up slightly through out the day. I wear a good pair of comfortable and supportive shoes and walk the track at the high school. Is there anything I can do for some relief. Specific stretches or extra exercises, something. I'm loosing my modivation to keep this up.P.S. I'm on my feet on and off through out the day, so it's not like I don't use my legs. I'm just adding a mile to my daily routine. |

| Are you stretching before you walk? Are you walking everyday? If so go to every other day to let your muscles rest and rebuild. Vary your workout. Walk one day, lift weights the next day. Then walk, then swim. |

| You may be overtraining. Ease up to walking every other day to allow your muscles to adapt. You can also do lower impact things like a stationary bike. |
