I work out 5 days a week at the gym, and when i go i do 20 mins on the bike, 20 mins on the treadmill and 10 on the rower and 15 on the cross trainer, followed up by a workout on the weights. I also cycle and go swimming. But do you think i'm eating enough for what i'm burning off as in the evenings i feel so hungry that i tend to fill up on junk because my body feels so deprived, like tonight i had loads of chocolate! Here's what i had today to eat after my workout at the gym:Porridge with strawberries, a banana and dried apricotscereal barapplepearkiwimelonsandwich (100 cals=2 slices) tuna filling, spinach and watercress and tomatosa few teaspoons of baked beansmackerel, carrots, broccoli, and swede and potatoesblueberriespineapplelow fat yoghurtcoleslawthen came my binge,,,,,,,a whole bag of liquorice and 2 slabs of chocolate!!! Why do u think i did this because it is so unlike me. Is it because i'm not eating enough during the day?

It sounds like you're eating enough, just maybe not the right mix. Try eating more protein and vegetables. You're eating an awful lot of fruit. Extra carbs will help you maintain a good energy level. With the exercise you're doing, more carbs will help prevent the binging at night. If you're not already, drink at least 72 ounces of water a day.

Keep the junk food out of your home is really the only way. If it is not there then you won't binge. It looks like you are getting plenty to eat....may be that you are bored etc....

Just to let you know, binging every once in a while is perfectly fine...in fact its good for you as it speeds up your metabolism. The reason you eat is probably because the food is available. If you put a fruit basket right next to you when you are watching tv, you are definitely only going to eat the fruit.
