I just bought two "Walk Away The Pounds" DVDs and I plan on using them starting on the 3rd or 4th of January. I'm 5"7 and I weigh 335lbs. And I'm going to make a change. I'm going to use the DVDs each tape is like 4 Miles. But I'm only going to do one each day. And for my eating, I'm going to eat.......Salad~Iceberg Lettuce, Tomatoes, Raw Broccoli, Baby Carrots, Bell Pepper, Red Onion, Boiled Eggs, Cucumber, Sun Flower w/ Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice or a Low Fat Salad Dressing.Fruits/Snacks~Apple Sauce, Watermelon, Bananas, Strawberries, Celery Sticks w/ Peanut ButterAnd I'm only going to drink A Gallon of Water a day. or Propel WaterI'm only going to Eat Fruits and Vegetables. With Eating the foods above combined with walking 4 miles a day.......1)Will I lose weight?2)When will I start to see results?3)Do I need to have on like Walking shoes when doing the walking tapes in my home? What about the clothes?And like for breakfast, Is it ok to eat Grits or Oatmeal w/ no sugar on it? What kinds of fruit or something I can add to it so it won't taste original.

That's not very much food. I know you want to lose weight, but you shouldn't starve yourself. Try also incorporating low-fat meats like chicken breast, turkey breast, and fish. You want to be sure that you are getting enough protein. You want this to be something that you can maintain for a long period of time. You will also likely need to add some whole grains. Oatmeal is a very good whole grain.A good weight loss goal is 1 - 2 pounds per week, although you will likely lose a bit more than that in the beginning.Yes, you should wear a good walking shoe when you are doing the workouts. A good sports bra is important for women. For other clothes, wear something comfortable, whether it is pants or shorts. Cotton clothes tend to hold in the sweat, so you might prefer a coolmax type of fabric that wicks the sweat from your skin.Good luck with your new program!
