My runner friends swear by Brooks. I saw an advertisement for Brooks with a deal where if you buy a pair of their shoes, and they don't work out after a period of time (I think it's 30 or 50 days), you can exchange them. I'm an occasional jogger and work out mostly at the gym, and I really like New Balance.

Asics, hands down, they're a little on the expensive side, but it is all worth it!Go to your local footwear store (lady foot locker, etc.) and talk to someone there, and most importantly, try them on!

New Balance, Mizuno, Brooks, Asics are good choices. The best thing you can do is go to a shoe store that carries these and try them out for yourself. I use mizuno's and when I first tried them on they felt like they fit me perfect and were already broke in. Good luck to you!

Many patients ask me how they can slim down. I am against prescription pills because I prescribed them many years ago, and some of my patients became very ill. I now recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little "help", I now recommend Hoodia (it's important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says "pure" or "standard".The Hoodia being sold at http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills.php is in my opinion, the best product on the market. It's pure, no side effects, and it's only $4.97 for 2 weeks (yes, less than $5 !). My patients have seen dramatic results with this particular Hoodia.
