["If Allah were to punish men according to what they deserve. He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: when their Term expires, verily Allah has in His sight all His Servants." (Qur'an 35:45)]"Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods, lives, and the fruits of your toil. But give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. Those who say, when afflicted with calamity, 'To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return.' They are those on whom descend blessings from their Lord, and mercy. They are the ones who receive guidance." (2:155-157)

I am so sorry this happened. But I don't know why these things are allowed to happen. I do hope and pray that justice will be served. As for your sister-in-law I pray that she has faith that her mom is in a better world than this one.

You have jumped on the wrong one,,Satan is the one who put,s evil in people,s mind to do such a thing,,,andI can assure you that God will see that this one ispunished in this life or the one to come,,,but do notblame God on every bad thing,,look Satan,s waybecause he,s the one who caused this to happen ,,not God.

That's simple. In letting her get beaten to death, God has committed what christians call a "sin of ommission." He could have stopped it but he'd rather watch instead. Why he is allowed to get away with that when the rest of us aren't is a real head scratcher. Christians? Anyone?

Yes, I felt that way for MANY years!!!!!! When I was a child, my mother was a prostitute and I was repeatedly raped, thrown down a flight of stairs and had my back broken. Tortured by people on the streets, ate out of garbage cans, watched my mother "do" guys in seedy motels, was constantly "hit on" by some of her johns, put in the hospital I don't know how many times, three for malnutrition, and was always given back to my mother by the courts. I lived a life of complete fear and tried suicide on many occasions, twice almost successful. My health has taken a toll from my life of abuse and my mental health has taken a toll also. I am 56 years old, and have severe PTSD and have taken meds my entire life.I HATED GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, one day a lady told me (only 3 years ago) that when God says something, he can't make it change for anyone (not make concessions) because he is incapable of lying. He does not sin. He said that he will rein in heaven and satan will rein on earth and people will have their own will, and he can't change that. TRUST ME, THIS TOOK ME 3 YEARS TO SOAK IN BECAUSE OF ALL MY HATE AND BITTERNESS AND I'M STILL WORKING ON IT!So, basically, the earth belongs to satan, and some people are evil, and God can do nothing because he would be sinning. He CAN'T stop them, because that would make him a liar. Do you understand? I know it's not fair, but, trust me, your friends mother is TRULY in a much better place. Good luck to you. Remember one thing, and tell your friend to also, there are people who have been through worse. That sounds corny, but seriously, it's true. And this poor woman is no longer suffering.

Because whoever the killer was, he/she had the free will to make a horrible choice like that. God loves us enough to give us freedom, and the inevitable result of that gift is that sometimes we abuse it and hurt each other. . . sometimes badly. And if sometimes we doubt God because of what His creatures choose to do, then we need to remember that we can't see all ends, that we don't know the results of everything that happens. What we do know is that God will take every wicked thing and use it in some way to bless others. That doesn't mean He approves of the evil, just that He won't let it happen for nothing. It may be (though of course I don't know) that the murderer was stoned on PCP and broke in and killed the lady to get money for drugs, and that he/she will be horrified by what they did and be led to salvation because of the remorse they feel. That's just one of many possibilities, some of which no one could ever guess. If I knew my death would lead another person into heaven, then I wouldn't be sorry to have died like that. I don't say that to be cruel, but simply to remind you that death is not the end, and to die for others is not a thing to be ashamed of, however much it may hurt. I don't know what God will use that terrible event to accomplish, but I do know He'll make something good come of it. He promised no less.

Why do you blame the evil deeds of those who oppose God on God?Our God wants all people released from the bondage of their selfish lives and to live in peace with all. Those who follow Him and His leading WOULD NEVER DO SUCH AN ATROCITY.That was the act of one led by a man-made god or by demons.Or are you saying that you demand that God CONTROL every act of every person on earth whether they belong to Him or not? I am positive that you would not want God to control everything you do so that you never hurt anyone, in any way, in this life. Then you would call Him "oppressive".
