| Whenever I'm on the treadmill on incline, I get a very bad pain in both ankles. It's almost too much to bear.... I'm a 30 year old female. Is this something serious? Do I need better shoes? Am I just walking too hard? |

| I would try an elliptical machine instead of a treadmill. These types of exercise machines are better on all your joints in your legs - especially your knees and ankles. |

| If you have not trained in a while it could be your tendons getting sore especially if they are supporting a good amount of weight. The elliptical is a great choice. Also take into consideration some people run on the sides of their fee, then rotate in.. This can definitely cause soreness! |
