I have been reading that it is best to change exercise program as the body gets used to same exercise. At the moment i do 30 mins daily on cycle, also twice a week i do an hour session of : bike - 30 mins, step - 10 mins, cross country runner- 5 mins, rower - 5ins, arms - 5mins and weights (on different machines) for 15 mins. I also do 30 mins of yoga twice a week.My question is should i change the 30 mins of cycling daily to 10 mins each on step, bike and runner ?.I weigh 8 stone 10lb and am 5ft 4 but have areas around bum and thighs that need toned. Also what machines are best for these areas ?Cheers

Well cycling, step and cross country runner will all be good for thighs and bum toning. Try the new routine and see if it makes a difference - it certainly wont do any harm. Also it will keep you interested. If you do the same thing day in day out you will get bored and lose motivation. Good luck and keep up the good work!

At least you weight is good. To tighten up those'hard to work areas' the eliptical machine is very good for that. You can dial up the resistance to give those target areas a real good workout. If you want faster and better results the leg press is excellents as is the squat.
