okay im 5ft10 i weigh about 185 and 15 years old. people tell me i dont look fat, i look built because i have a very good figure, but i still want to lose like 20-30 pounds and gain muscle for the summerthis is what i plan on doing ..... so every morning ill have a cup of oatmeal with fruits, and then later ill have a snack(fruit cup) and for lunch ill have fruit cup and water.... my school mostly has junk food so i have no other choice but to eat a fruit cup... but sometimes ill take grilled chicken from home... then around 4:00 ill go to the gym and do an hour of cardio and then crunches, dumbells, and other stuff that work my back, shoulders, triceps and biceps etc. every other day ill do like weights and stuff but ever single day i do cardio, I dont want to get excessively jacked i just want to get toned so i could see my abs and cuts on my triceps/bicepswould this be a good way of losing weight and getting muscle?

yeah, sounds pretty good. you don't need to limit yourself to chicken sandwiches, try salads too. or for snacking grab some fruit, or granola bars.and you can exercise at home too. so when you're not at the gym, before bed or in the morning, or whenever you have time. instead of going on the computer or watching tv, do sit ups. normal crunches, bicycle sit ups, leg lifts, planks, push ups.(for your abs)you dont ever have to do pushups sometimes, just holding yourself in that position works your core. for triceps/biceps, just lift. your cardio sounds good. after a few weeks you should be able to notice an improvement.and gradually increase the intensity and time of your workouts.and rememberMuscle weighs MORE than fat.so if you lose your fat, and some weight, and then later you start gaining weight (and you're still exercising the same) than don't flip. it's muscle weight.

lol eating fruit cupsok don't do cardio for an hour that's just too much just run a mile on the treadmill at 7.5 pace or if you can run faster do it just don't stop and try to lift your max but work on different parts of your body on different days. Make sure you eat food that has a lot of protein
