| i run 3 miles everyday and am on a low carb-lean protein-lots of fruits and veggies diet and have been for 5mos. im going crazy and have no idea whats wrong and why im not losing weight. help! |

OK, don't worry! Keep doing what your doing. It's good to eat some protein while your trying to lose weight. Just not TOO much. Eat your vegetables. But remember- it's not necessarily WHAT you eat....it's how MUCH you eat. So cut your regular portions of food in half and save the rest for later. Also your metabolism may be slow but it's OK. Just think positive. You need to sleep properly too. Stay on track with your biological clock. Good Luck! P.S.- if u can afford it- try the tread mil- it's not as hard on your body.  |

| The only thing that comes to mind would be puberty. If you've just started, or are very hormonal, that could cause odd fluctuating weight. If you know for sure puberty isn't a factor, then I do not have very much of an answer for you. The diet might just not be for you. Maybe try some other methods and diets, or if you feel it isn't "right" then contact a local doctor. They can help you figure out why the weight doesn't want to go. |
